Dan Deeble

Dan Deeble is the founder and owner of Lost Ball Consulting. Before starting LBC, Dan served as the lead and teaching pastor at Heartland Community, a church of approximately 3,500 in the Kansas City area. Dan has taught, coached, and trained organizations and thousands of people, including many C-level executive groups, in whole-life skills including relational conflict, work/life balance, change versus transition, and leadership development. He also developed a popular relationship curriculum called LOVE(MATH).

Before that, he served as Marketing Director for McDonald’s of Santa Barbara and in business development for GraphiCard Systems, a customer loyalty group where he consulted advertising agencies such as DDB Needham, Simon Marketing, Davis Elen, and others. As an impact communicator, Dan has also been a trade show speaker, conference host, podcast host, commencement speaker, and he gives a mean pre-game speech. Along the way, Dan has been developing aspiring communicators since 2001. 

Dan is married to Elise and together they have three brave daughters. In his spare time, he founded and currently serves as “The Commissioner” of KC WIFFLE, a 501(c)7 charity-driven adult Wiffle Ball league that has helped to raise over $500K in just four years. It has been said that Dan leads with a big heart and rules with a plastic fist.

Mitch Wheeler

Mitch is a marketing and sponsorship executive with more than 35 years of experience. He’s worked on many of the world’s major sports events, both on the property side and the corporate partner side. He has held senior management positions with both the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals, serving as each team’s chief marketing/partnership officer for a combined 15 years. Mitch has vast experience in the sports agency business and has served as the primary point of contact for clients such as the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, The Rolling Stones, United States Olympic Committee, the Richard Petty Race Team, Coke, Sprint and most recently The University of Kansas Health System and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City specializing in the areas of sponsorship/event strategy, management, negotiation and activation.

In his spare time, Mitch serves as the Director of Development for The Battle Within which helps Veterans and First Responders who are suffering from PTS find their path to healing. Mitch finally succumbed to her relentless pursuits and proposed to Amy in 1984. Together they have four adult children (Jeremy, Allie, Kelsey, and Seth) and a growing gaggle of grandchildren. For fun, Mitch also loves to play Wiffle Ball and is one of the founding fathers of Wiffle at The Hollow.

Matthew Matsch

Matthew Matsch has founded / owned over 10 businesses since starting his career as an entrepreneur 14 years ago. In each of the businesses, Matthew has taken the role of Managing Partner / CEO, but he also has extensive experience with all C-Suite roles. A few of his most recent businesses include Messenger Coffee, Ibis Bakery, Black Dog Coffeehouse, Filling Station Coffee, and his consulting company, Popular Workshop. Matthew is especially strong with growth strategy, financial planning, finding organizational efficiencies, team building, and mergers and acquisitions. He is currently working on founding new businesses with a focus on Arts, Environment, and Mental Health and Wellness, while also advising executives and organizations as a consultant.

Matthew is an artist, washed up soccer player, and a deep thinker. He is married to Kelsey, a professional dancer and together they live in Parkville, Missouri.

Tim Worstell

Tim Worstell has owned multiple startup companies over the last 25 years and also currently serves as the visionary of Digital Marketing for The Crossing, a large church in Columbia, MO. Tim leads a team of Storytellers, Marketers and Consultants and together they tell the best stories in the world.

Tim is Lost Ball’s digital marketing expert and primarily works with our Google grant and analytic clients. He has a “next level, go big or go home” entrepreneurial spirit that– combined with his experience in multiple sectors– has created significant, measurable and repeated results for his clients.

Tim is married to Amaris and they have three amazing daughters Alivia, Haley and Madison. They are life-long residents of Columbia, MO. He and his wife graduated from Hickman High School, then he went on to attend the University of Central Missouri to pursue a business degree. He’s most proud, however, of his shuffle board skills and– now that he’s with Lost Ball– is learning to mash some Wiffle plastic!
